Do You Understand Me?

We as human beings always yearn for being acknowledged, appreciated, encouraged and above all look for somebody who can understand us since our childhood.

This is the reason a baby keeps himself/herself engaged with his/her parents especially mother to energize and satisfy this innate urge. Later on, as we progress in age this urge escalates. Irrespective of gender this desire keeps on touching our mind and heart all the time that this world lacks with those who finally perceive us the way we are.

Children, being the most susceptible creatures always look forward towards their parents for being understood and consequently need to communicate their emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual desires consistently. Leading them to engage friends who are usually their peers, cousins, or sometimes even elders in their family whom they could depend upon to share their feelings.

Experience and research suggests that this yearning reaches its pinnacle in the mid life when both men and woman look for partners who are similar in mindsets, professions, beliefs and values. Inner happiness and contentment rely on this partnership and keep us moving in life with energy and motivational force.

Students in their teen age, adolescence, and twenties always keep changing friendships just to satisfy their need of truthful and trustworthy friendships in order to share their feelings, this desire has been put up essentially through our social media, cell phone usage and internet and practically solving the issue. However, the consequences are disastrous or fatal usually.

We as parents of digital age have to make provisions in our homes to keep the communication channel always open for our kids, we need to become their friends once they are reaching teens or adolescent age in order to provide them satisfactory answers to their problems and issues arising in their innocent minds from time to time.

Instead of creating barriers for them which sometimes lead to psychological disorders we must remain in touch with their surrounding environment and provide them equal opportunities to share and express. However, a controlled guidance is necessary always by keeping a close eye on them and communicating that how much concerned we are as parents and as their close friends.

Parents fighting loudly in front of kids, shows them how marriage leads to disaster finally and when they reach at their marital time will definitely avoid it and prefer to remain single. Actually, in life we all need to make certain types of commitment with each other to bear difference of opinions, view points and accept our mistakes with open heart. Involve children in domestic decision making to build their self confidence. Control our feelings where its necessary and express where its vital.

Certainly, these are normal social issues and irrespective of age, gender, caste and any ethnic differences we are all in same boat as far as our social issues are concerned.

Why not keep communicating our thoughts with good intentions of motivating those who need our support, kindness, courage and integrity to move on in life successfully.

Intellectual Persecution or What?

Persecution and exploitation seems negative words in our dictionaries but most of us remain really unaware of it however facing it in our everyday life chores.

Majeed being a talented young professional completed his masters from a well reputed university and scored high grades too. He seems ambitious about fulfillment of his goals in life and therefore started looking for a decent opportunity to prove himself. After a struggle of few months he finally got shortlisted and offered an opportunity but not according to his qualification and skills. He felt disheartened but due to insecure financial position accepted the offer and joined the organization. Everyday he reluctantly left for his workplace and came back home walking heavily without any happiness in his eyes and smile on his face.

One night while he was sleepless he asked this question to himself Am I being exploited intellectually? The answer he received from his heart was surprisingly in positive. He remained in shock for sometime but was unable to figure out what to do? He thought of looking for some online opportunity to earn something reasonable as told by some of his friends who were already earning. Majeed possessing reasonable level of writing skills as he use to write for his college magazine therefore he got selected for an online content writing assignment on contract basis. He was happy now that at least through this his writing capacity will not only improve at the same time he will earn something extra in his free time.

He started working on the assignment which was mailed to him. The assignment was not directly related to his field of study but somehow he thought that he can manage after doing considerable research on internet. He started off very enthusiastically and kept on mailing his tasks as they get done before deadline and he was rather doing extra work with the feeling of earning extra bonus too. After doing whole one month hard work he mailed the employer for his pay cheque. In response to his mail he received no reply he was astonished and sent another mail but no reply from his employer again. He called him but the phone was off. Now, he started smelling something fishy fishy and called his friend and told him his story. Surprisingly, his friend facing the same situation as well and both the friends were heart broken as their effort and time went down the drain probably.

Majeed got annoyed and tried to probe into the matter to find out the real story behind the scene. Unfortunately, the employer was stationed somewhere far away therefore it was difficult for him to go there too.

The same question again came to his mind and this time a more convincing feeling came to his mind. What was the feeling or thought he had? Yes, this is intellectual persecution, leading to emotional, spiritual, physical, moral all types of exploitation. This persecution boosts our emotional stress level leading to frustration and desperation.

Undoubtedly, we are living in technological age with immense facilities of information and knowledge lying around us keeping us aware about our surroundings but the issue lies in the usage of these contemporary resources these days.

However, people have become mind smart and educated but primarily look for short cut methods of success. They consider possession of money and material things as success, the only purpose of life. Which is certainly not true at all. There are many rich people who are very unhappy in life and look for care, attention, love and time even for themselves which they are unable to acquire even spending millions. They simply have no idea what is true happiness in life, where it lies and how it can be acquired etc.

Exploiting human intellect, emotions, morals and any kind of persecution is certainly a crime of digital age. Real contentment of heart lies in moving in life with patience, consistency in effort but with good intention every time, avoid using short cut methods to gain success, serve more and keep our desires to just fulfilling our needs all the rest belongs to others who are far more deserving than us.

Forget and forgive quickly and than you will feel the difference in your life. Be happy in what you have but do  follow your goals and ambitions as one day if you remain persistent you will achieve them as no effort ever goes waste and this is my personal experience.

Hard work always pays indeed, so keep striving for better and keep achieving.

Researchers all over the world use diversified methods to conclude their findings and on the basis of those findings develop new systems, techniques, resources and create new avenues for further growth of human resource. Subsequently, capacity building of human resource, providing creative opportunities to required individuals as well as professionals.

However, research is a time consuming, pain taking task but even then research being the most inherent capability of human being yet researches keep on going all over the world since the creation of human being.

Lets begin our research from our home first the most close to all of us and try to find solutions to our family issues, leading to outside world which is full of knowledge, information, creativity, innovation and much more than our small mind could think of.

Teacher What a Person?

Teachers are different beings possessing innate capacity to turn an ordinary child into an extra ordinary personality.

My teacher asked me to come and see me after my class in her staff room situated at the corner of our long veranda of school campus.

I was little upset about the mistake I did in my test and therefore my legs were trembling with a hidden fear. No answer was coming to my mind, couldn't think of any solution to my problem.

The school bell was like a signal to me that now the time is up, and I must now go and face the music. I packed my bag, started eating my lunch quickly so I could run towards the staff room. This was my break time and all my peers were enjoying the break time, playing in the school playground, a long queue was awaiting for their turn in front of school canteen which I was looking with desperation.

I was walking heavily towards the staff room, finally reaching at the door and asked in fearful voice, 'may I come in madam', a very sweet voice came from inside, yes dear, please do come in and sit down beside me. How are you dear son? You are looking wonderful in this neat uniform. I am so happy to see you  and was looking forward to meet you personally. So, Hashim! how is your life going on? How are your parents and your other family members? Hope they are all well. I was astonished to hear all this concern. My heart started pounding with happiness and all my fears have flown away.

Well, Hashim, you are a one of the best student of my class, you will be a leader one day. What I want to guide you about is that keep practicing your sentence making skill so your comprehension and your writing power will improve more. I am sure one day you will be among the great writers of your time.

I was so excited and happy to know all this and was running back towards the playground to share the breaking news with my friends.

Teacher what a person? I was unable to comprehend in my small mind, but today when am really a leader of my organization can recall that experience. My teacher was indeed a personality a role model to follow, my friend in my time of stress and loneliness, my guide and my mentor throughout my life.

We do need such teachers today, for our children. We can only have such teachers among us when we ourselves become role models for others to follow. Lets become good human beings first, than we are good parents, good citizens, good Muslims above all.

Students of today are teachers of tomorrow, so take life seriously and keep on facilitating our youngsters towards the right way and guide them in making right choices, and stand up for the right cause.
